Giving to the Center for American Indian and Indigenous Studies
In just a few short years the Center has become the go-to source of support for our Indigenous students, staff and faculty through research and travel grants, Native Knowledge grants and other forms of financial support. In addition, we have implemented several new programs such as NUW Scholars to support our incoming students, AIIS Scholars to support our faculty and graduate students and the new Pathways Program connecting with community colleges to create easier pathways for Indigenous studies students to transfer to UW or four-year colleges-these are just a few of our exciting programs!
Perhaps more importantly the Center’s programming, events and activities help provide a sense of community for our students, staff and faculty.
